How much does it cost to print badges at an event?
With the Print Service, from €175 + VAT per event of 1 to 3 days. That includes the printer, print server, scanner, print panel, the template with name, surname and company, and up to 500 labels. Return shipping within mainland Spain is €25.
What do I need on site?
A power socket, a wired network connection for the print server and a laptop or tablet with a browser (the panel doesn’t work on a mobile phone). If there’s no network connection, we can send you a 4G router as well.
Does it work without internet?
No. The print server receives the jobs over the internet, which is why it needs a network cable or our 4G router.
What goes on the label?
The standard template has name, surname and company, printed large. The label is about 57 × 51 mm and there’s room for little else, so if you need another detail, such as the pass type or a code to scan at the door, we adapt it at extra cost. The printer prints in black.
Do you keep attendees’ data?
With the Print Service, no. What you type is printed and not stored. With the accreditation service, yes, because it keeps a record of your attendees so we can look them up on the day. We keep that data for up to 4 years and, if the organiser asks, we delete it as soon as the event is over.
Can I print from my own website or registration app?
Yes. Your system sends the details via API and the label comes out of our printer. We explain how on the API page.
How many printers do I need?
It depends on how many people arrive at once. It takes about 30 seconds from someone reaching the desk to having their label, so each point can handle about two people a minute. If you expect 120 people in half an hour, two points will do. If you’re also attaching lanyards and badge holders at the desk, allow a little longer.
How far in advance should I order?
A week is usually enough if we have kits free, but we recommend ordering 10 days ahead.
Do you cover the whole of Spain?
Yes. Return shipping within mainland Spain costs €25. For the Balearic and Canary Islands, we’ll include it in your quote.
What if I want someone from your team at the desk?
We can add that: a technician for half a day or a full day.
How is this different from printing badges in advance?
You only print badges for the people who actually come, you can fix a name on the spot, and you can accredit people who turn up without having signed up.
Do you rent the printer on its own?
Yes, if you already have software that prints to Zebra printers. We’ll give you the price in your quote.
What is Acreditados.es?
It’s the accreditation tool of Exyt Control SL, a company that runs access control and accreditation at events all over Spain. The Print Service is its most basic version.
